A place to belong.

Scrofiano is a small medieval Tuscan village overlooking the Valdichiana. Its narrow streets pass between old stone houses, opening here and there onto the surrounding hills.

The house stands within the village itself, among its historic buildings. This is village life, with neighbours and familiar streets, rather than the seclusion of a country house.

Two historic towers rise above Scrofiano’s closely gathered rooftops. The village retains its medieval outline, with buildings and narrow passages that have developed around its old walls.

At street level, the details are smaller: stone steps, old doorways, turns in the lanes and glimpses of the countryside between buildings. These are not museum pieces but part of a village where everyday life continues.
